Sample evaluation plan for a strategic plan
Sample Evaluation Plan should address following key items:
(a) Key challenge : For example, existing workforce shows lack of competencies.
(b) Action Plan : This is to set the goal for the key challenge. Such as, improving the hiring process etc.
(c) Action approaches: detailed steps to address key challenges with respect to step (b).
(d) Tasks : Granular level effort with respect to step (c) such as training to be given, Online solution, involving new stakeholder etc.
(e) Accountability /Responsibility: This section captures the details about the tasks to be executed by whom for example, HR Specialist, Talent and Development Director
(f) Timelines: Set the limit.
(g) Status : such as In progress, not completed, completed etc.
(h) Measures for Monitoring the performance to control successful achievement of action items. For example, “Increase in no. of candidates with respect to the job available “ and at least 3 candidates should apply. Outcome could be reduction in the hiring cycle by 2 weeks.
