Make Technology, not talent, your first priority Can you please write me 6 or 8 sentance from this littel essay on the bottom This article makes more sense to businesses that are still paper based and have not ventured toward digitization of their business processes. Although it is true that much of the work done by people are going to be replaced by technology one cannot overlook the effects of it. The author has pointed out that filing of taxes are made easier by the development of software packages. I for one cannot agree completely with this. I work for a tax firm. And I can say there are many people who have access to technology and are quite savvy in it but still prefer to come in and consult with a specialist and get it done. If this is the case for people who have access then I don’t think much needs to be said about those who cannot access it. Technology can replace humans in certain aspects, but not in all. The changes brought about have to be constantly monitored for their performance. That said, I do agree with the author’s recommendations about investing in technology and utilizing those tools to analyze the data so collected. Being in-step with the demands of the ever expanding digital economy is very important. The idea of not pursuing a perfect solution to one’s business and instead accepting a good solution in the interest of adopting technology is a very good suggestion. Many businesses fall into this trap outlined by the author. But the placement of technology as the single most important task at the cost of talent is hard to accept.
